Rana Shehadeh
Rana is a holder of bachelor degree in Human Nutrition, member of the American Dietetic Association,
with more than thirteen years experience as a clinical dietitian in hospitals and private clinics, she provided many workshops and seminars in colleges and within the community to improve health and nutritional awareness, as well as many appearances on many Arabic broadcasting channels.
Rana has provided nutritional counseling for groups and individuals covering weight management and lifestyle modification, diabetes, renal disease, food intolerance, nutritional assessment and recommendations for many other different conditions.
While working as part of a multi- disciplinary team helping diabetic children she developed special interest in educating children with diabetes helping them to achieve their nutritional and health goals.
In 2006 she started at the Advanced Nutrition Center at Dubai Health Care City to continue spreading the awareness within the community and provide a medically approved advice concerning nutrition for all individuals seeking expert advice.
Caroline Kanaan Kamel
Caroline Kanaan Kamel has worked in the UAE as a dietitian for four years and has helped people lose weight and adopt a healthy lifestyle to manage their cholesterol, diabetes, ulcerative colitis, food intolerances and other health conditions. Caroline also works with children, including children with autism and special needs, to implement special diets and improve their nutritional status. She has written over one hundred magazine articles in health and nutrition, has made several appearances on TV and radio and is a speaker at local conferences and exhibitions. She has a Bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences from McGill University, Canada and a Masters Degree in Public Health from the American University of Beirut. |
